Criminal and Civil Law

Adrián Murcho is a legal procurator and attorney who graduated from Universidad de Belgrano, with more than 40 years of professional practice.

He served as outside counsel to the Municipality of San Fernando and as Deputy Director of the National Secretariat of Culture. He had a distinguished role in the Bar Association of the Judicial Department of San Isidro, where he began as Alternate Councilor and went on to hold elected positions within the institution, such as Secretary General of the Board of Directors and Vice President. He was also President of the Administration of Justice Committee and of the Committee for the Defense of Lawyers and Professional Mentorship, among other relevant positions; and was appointed by the CASI as Advisory Councilor to the Provincial Judicial Council (Consejo de la Magistratura). At the Bar Association’s proposal, the Provincial Supreme Court of Justice appointed him Associate Judge (Conjuez) of that high court, a position he continues to hold, taking part in the adjudication of proceedings against various judges at the provincial level.

He also served as General Coordinator between Universidad de San Isidro Dr. Plácido Marín and the Bar Association in connection with the professional training of university students in the private sector, his own law firm being one of the designated host institutions for academic training in criminal and civil procedure.

He acted as attorney-in-fact for nautical companies such as Segue S.A. and Ducca Embarcaciones. He was also attorney-in-fact for security companies such as Estrella Federal Seguridad Privada Integral S.R.L. and Star Group S.R.L. He currently serves as attorney-in-fact for the metallurgical company Titania S.A. and for SAB Logística S.A.

Having worked for years at the notarial office headed by notary Horacio Murcho, he has acquired extensive experience in notarial and registry law. This has led him to act on several occasions as defense counsel for notaries in criminal matters and to represent them in civil lawsuits; currently, he represents members of the San Isidro Delegation of the Notaries’ Association (Colegio de Escribanos).

He has an extensive track record in the defense of private matters of public significance, such as the García Belsunce case, and he currently acts as defense counsel in the oral trial of the former Attorney General of the Judicial Department of San Isidro, Dr. Julio Novo. Adrián has long taken part in a great number of oral trials, whether before juries or professional judges, which has made him an expert consultant and advisor to colleagues in this field, having distinguished himself by the outcomes achieved in those proceedings. He has deep expertise in filing appeals before the Criminal Cassation Court and extraordinary appeals before the Supreme Court of Justice of the Province of Buenos Aires, as well as Federal Extraordinary Appeals and complaint appeals (recurso de queja) before the Supreme Court of Justice of Argentina.

Despite having taken part in high-profile cases with significant public impact, he is known for not presenting himself as a media-oriented lawyer; instead, he stands out for his low profile, sobriety, and discretion — virtues that people especially value when choosing a professional in criminal matters, where sensitive issues demand the most rigorous safeguarding of attorney-client privilege.
